In the midst of human decay, Leninism spat out a little white boy onto Tiananmen square in 1989. Hailing from the ever-changing sphere that was East Berlin in the late eighties and growing up in the hurricane that was Beijing. As a bastard of eastern and western cultures, this homeless wanderer was always drawn to the power that was Music.  At the mere age of 17 Oliver’s DJ career started in Shanghai in 2008 as a founding member of Intransik Beats, one of the driving forces behind Techno and Dubstep events at the ever-loved Shelter and other local institutions. Building on these experiences he earned his rite of passage by spending the majority of the last decade playing at dungeons in Berlin, shacks in the outskirts of Munich, and large acclaimed festivals such as Feel or Fusion. He is also an integral part of the Munich-based tanz.t.raum ensemble, orchestrating electronic dance events from east to west. As a 5 year resident at Munich’s legendary Tante Erna, he’s gained a natural understanding of rave and dance music history, allowing him to conjure up mixes from heartfelt Deep House to driving Techno – always walking the fine line between love and destruction.  His influences include the loud calls of horny moose, the ever-driving clank of steam railways, and the sweet sound of Bolshevist chamber music. However, Oliver draws the majority of his inspiration from the likes of Ziggy Stardust and Ol’ Dirty Bastard, who he dreams of joining in hell so he may finally discuss the dangers of music-related substance abuse. Also, Oliver enjoys cooking, long walks through the forest and watching the stars at night.
